Nicholas Bevan began his career as a barrister’s clerk in the Temple, London.  He qualified as a solicitor in 1988. He headed the Insurance Department of Bevan Ashford solicitors in Exeter before moving to Bond Pearce LLP where he was Senior Counsel until 2010. Was was an owner and executive director of Enable Law Ltd until 2013.  He owns and runs Nota Bene Legal Consulting.

 

In 2008 Nicholas was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Barker Brooks Media Personal Injury Awards for his contribution to legal practice and reform. He won the Global Finance UK Personal Injury Lawyer Of the Year for 2016.  He was shortlisted for the Law Monthly PI Lawyer of the Year Award 2016 and was a finalist for the 2016 Modern Law Awards top prize for Outstanding Achievement. In 2018 he was one of three finalists for the Halsbury Award For The Rule Of Law and was also twice voted the outright winner of two awards by Finance Monthly as well as Lawyer Monthly.
